Because I haven't done a favorites post yet and today is May 1st, what better time for me to start than today? I don't have many favorites for this month in particular, but I do have a few items I have been using religiously lately.

The first item I've been obsessed with is my new mineral bronzer from Ulta in Bronze Glow. I'm obsessed with this bronzer because I think it's a good shade for my skin tone and more importantly, it's a matte bronzer. I absolutely despise shimmery bronzers, and sometimes it can be hard to find a good matte one. I've been extremely pleased with this since I bought it and I definitely plan on repurchase it when I run out.

The next thing I've been loving is my Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine oil treatment for my hair. This product is fantastic for anyone who struggles with frizzy hair or hair that can be slightly unmanageable. I use it before I blow dry my hair and after I finish styling it. It smells wonderful and it keeps my hair silky smooth. I'll also be repurchasing this when I run out!

Bed Head Curlipops tapered wand

I would say that one of my favorite products I have purchased in a long time has been my Maybelline Magic Nude liquid powder foundation. This foundation is perfect for me because the texture is silky smooth, it feels incredibly light on the skin, and you don't have to apply powder over it if you don't want to. I usually apply little bit of powder, mostly just because the weather has been warm lately and my skin tends to get oily. This foundation looks super natural but still gives you a nice finish and cancels out discoloration. It would be great to try if you aren't a fan of foundation.

The last thing I've been using regularly has been my Bed Head Curlipops tapered curling wand. I've been using this on a regular basis since I got it and it has quickly become my favorite styling tool. What I love about this curling wand is that it heats up insanely fast and it's really quick to use once you get the hang of it. I would suggest wearing the glove that comes with it when you first start using the wand, but after a while you'll get the hang of it and hopefully won't burn yourself too much like I did. I just love this tool because I can create a multitude of looks with it. I can go for spiral curls, loose wavy curls, or a beachy look. I definitely recommend giving this a shot! It's also fairly inexpensive at Ulta.
