Guest Post: Top 5 Beauty Products under $10

By 8:00 AM

Hey Beauty Bees,
I have been collecting makeup and beauty products for many years now and although I love my high end brands, drug store/cheaper brands take up a huge chunk of my beauty collection. Over the years I've tried out many different products and today I want to talk about the top 5 that I use and love the most that won't break the bank, especially if they become a product you repurchase over and over. Here are my top picks for products under $10:
Rimmel Stay Matte Long Lasting Pressed Powder ($4.99)
I have tried pressed powders from Benefit, Too Faced and Makeup Forever, but this drug store product trumps them all. I've been using this powder every single time I do my makeup and it's great for eliminating shine, setting my foundation and evening out my skin tone. Even if you're someone who doesn't like powders that add color, they have a shade in transparent that would work perfectly for any skin color.
Yes To Cucumbers Facial Towelettes ($5.99)
These handy towelettes exfoliate, detoxify and rejuvenate your skin with a single biodegradable wipe. One sheet can take off my makeup completely without having to use any other products. I even like to use them before bed even if I didn't wear makeup that day. They're also a great product to toss into your gym bag to use for freshening up after a workout since the light cucumber scent is very refreshing. With one package holding 30 moistened towelettes, this product is a bargain that'll last you a whole month.
Sinful Colors Nailpolish ($1.99)
Coming in so many different colors and finishes, this cheap nail polish will have you repainting your nails everyday just to try out a different shade - not because of chipping (which it doesn't easily if you use its top coat). I own over 30 colors from this brand of polish and it is my go-to when I paint my nails. It goes on easily, dries fast and usually only needs 1 to 2 coats. Its lasting power is amazing. I can usually go about a week before it starts to show any wear to it. Try going with a pink color this month to support Breast Cancer Awareness.
Maybelline Great Lash Lots of Lashes Mascara ($5.99)
This mascara has been around for the longest time and I believe that it's the best mascara Maybelline has ever come out with. My mom uses it, my late mother-in-law used it, all of my friends use it and I will continue to use it until I can't find it anymore. This product has been and is loved by everyone. It curls and separates lashes while lengthening them at the same time without a single clump. I'll admit I do love a lot of my high end mascaras and use them regularly, but it's always layered with this specific one.
EOS Lip Balm Sphere ($3.29)
With flavors ranging from Blueberry Acai to Honeysuckle Honeydew, this inexpensive, twist top, all-natural lip balm provides long-lasting moisture in a variety of summer scents. The balms are made with antioxidant-rich vitamin E and shea butter, making them great for keeping your lips soft and smooth. Besides being a great product, they are just so pretty! I own every flavor and I love to display the brightly colored egg shaped balms on my vanity for easy reach. I also love the easy twist-off top that makes them different from any other lip product.
Beauty does not have to come with a maxed out credit card. I dare you to add just one of these 5 products into your routine and then tell me that it didn't change your life.

  1. Sinful color was one of the main polishes I would buy when I was styling my own nails! And I always use EOS.
