My 5 Holy Grail Products

By 8:00 AM

Whether you're super obsessed with makeup or just getting started, we all have our favorites that we NEED in our beauty arsenals. I love finding awesome products that are perfect for me and easy to get my hands on when I need them. Here's 5 of my ultimate, must-have, favorite beauty products of all time! (I've also included links where you can purchase them!)

---   ---   ---

I think this was the first Urban Decay product I ever tried, and boy, did I make a good choice or what?

I haven't tried any of the other setting sprays they have, but this one is definitely fantastic. What I love about it is that it gives a nice finish to the skin and it helps keep my makeup last tremendously longer than it would without.

This product isn't cheap (if you're like me and spend more time perusing drugstore brands than higher end) and costs about $30 for a bottle, but it's completely worth it! If you purchase anything from a higher end brand, you should definitely reach for this.

I've tried many a foundation in my day and have rarely stuck with one. However, this one is a foundation that I've repurchased many times and plan on repurchasing it many more times (unless I happen to find something even better!).

What I love about this foundation is that it's just what I need for my skin. There are three issues I have with my skin - it's acne prone, has some scarring, and also tends to get super red easily. Therefore, I need a foundation that's got good coverage but doesn't feel too heavy on my skin.

This foundation does exactly that for me. It gives me really fantastic coverage and it's long-lasting, but what I like is that it's not too heavy. A lot of high coverage foundations tend to feel super thick on my skin, so it's been hard finding one that's just right. I'll be sticking with this one for a long time!

3. Milani Color Statement lipstick in Sangria

I found this lipstick a few months ago and I've been completely enamored with it ever since. You've probably seen me wear it in multiple photos on Instagram

This lipstick is perfect in every way. First of all, the color is gorgeous. It's a pretty deep purple shade that's not too purple, but super bold. The shade looks great with my skintone, which I love. It can be hard to find great lipstick shades when you have pale skin and red hair.

The consistency is super nice as well, It doesn't dry my lips out and it applies super opaque and gorgeous.

I also love that this lipstick can easily be sheered out for a pretty pink lip. I wear it for any look I want, whether it's bold and dramatic or simple and pretty.

What I also love about this lipstick is its lasting power - this lipstick will stay on ALL. NIGHT. *swoon*

I plan on purchasing more Milani lipsticks, and I definitely want to pick this shade up again when I run out.

This is a product I just recently purchased within the past couple of months, and it's probably the best one on this list, honestly.

Because I have problematic skin, I also struggle with my foundation/powder combination looking cakey. Getting good coverage is so hard if you don't have truly great products!

Luckily, I decided to use the Ulta gift cards I received for Christmas to treat myself to a really nice powder, and I chose this Urban Decay loose powder. And I'm so happy I did.

Honestly, this powder is magical. It's light, it feels like satin on my skin, and it only takes a light dusting on the skin to cover my entire face. I can already tell that this powder will last me ages longer than the other powers I've tried, especially for a loose powder. I don't know about you, but my loose powders tend to get used up fairly quickly.

Basically, I'm obsessed with this powder. Whenever I eventually run out of this powder, I am most definitely buying it again!

5. Hard Candy Glamoflauge concealer

You've definitely seen this concealer in practically all of my makeup posts, and with good reason.

I actually picked this concealer up in the beauty aisle at Wal-Mart, which is unusual for me but I was intrigued by it. As someone with problematic skin, I need a concealer that will really do its job. And this one takes the cake!

This concealer hides EVERY blemish on your face. It's got a fairly thick consistency, which is actually great because that means you don't need to use as much to get the coverage you need.

I don't use it under my eyes, but I use it specifically for covering blemishes.

What I really love is that it only takes a bit to cover spots, so the tube lasts for ages. I've had mine for probably at least 6 months or longer and am JUST now running low. And it's cheap. What more could you ask for?
