Review: Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Mist

By 10:10 AM

I've become OBSESSED with the dewy skin look here lately (along with everyone else, let's be honest here). Gone are the days of matte skin - now, everybody's highlight has to be en pointe and if your skin doesn't look wet, you aren't doing it right.

Anyway, I decided to try out this skin mist after watching a YouTube video of Jaclyn Hill's (love her) where she used it. Apparently, Kim Kardashian's makeup artist uses this on her skin to get that perfect dewy look. And as much as I hate to admit liking something that Kim K does, let's be real ... no one pulls off a dewy face like she does (case in point below)

I decided to purchase the travel size of this product because it's a bit on the expensive side if you buy the full-size version. That's just not a commitment I can make until I know it's perfect, you know?

MY THOUGHTS

First of all, I like the packaging for this skin mist. It's pretty and it makes me want to put it on my face, so there you go.

This skin mist isn't like anything else I've used before. It's got this almost milky texture (and it sprays perfectly out of the bottle - bless Tatcha for having a decent nozzle!)

Let's get to the point here - I'm in love!

If you have dry skin, you're going to absolutely love this product. If you're oily, don't even think about it!

What I like about this product is that it doesn't take too long to dry on your face, either. When I'm using other skin mists, I have to sit there for at least five minutes fanning myself so it dries, but that's never an issue with this mist.

What I also really love about it is that it actually keeps my skin moisturized and dewy without weighing down my skin or feeling super oily all day. I've used other mists that can actually be drying if you use them incorrectly or don't pat your face after using them, and others can make your face feel wet during the day.

I'm happy I gave this product a shot, because I'm definitely going to be re-purchasing in the future (which probably won't be long from now, because I'm so obsessed I keep using it every. day.)

Anyway, if you guys try this out or have any other skin mists you're obsessed with, let me know in the comments!

  1. I can honestly say I would buy anything that comes in a cute package but my skin is so weird, it's too dry in some parts and oily in other spots I'm still trying to find the perfect product for it!

    I'm so glad you're back!

    1. Haha I completely agree, cute packaging is a must. It's hard to find things that work for that skin type! I get extra dry in some parts, and it's so awkward sometimes. Thanks for your support, girl! :D
